Role of Trustee

The Trustee is a member of a team and must uphold any decisions passed by the Board of Trustees.

Trustees are responsible for establishing Policy and ensuring the director of education carries out the implementation of the policies.

Trustees are accountable to the province and must pass a balanced budget annually. 

The Board of Trustees hires the director of education and are responsible for an annual evaluation. 

Trustees are accountable to their electorate.
